Appliances

Your appliances can be a significant source of EMF exposure.  Because they all run off of electricity, they will generate electrical and magnetic fields - some more strongly than others.  Items with motors (like a ceiling fan and refrigerator) will put out stronger fields than those without motors.  Transformers (the electrical device that upregulated or downregulated voltage), like those found in alarm clocks, computers, and any wall powered digiatl device, put out weaker magnetic fields.  These devices should not be near you when you sleep.

Newer appliances (those that communicate with smart meters) produce EMF’s as they communicate with the smart meter.  If at all possible, these devices whould be avoided, or the smart meter communication disabled to limit EMF exposure (please make certain you are not violating local laws by doing this).
